Join us this summer at Daycroft School in Ann Arbor for one of Michigan’s most exciting and educational chess camps! The Implodians Summer Chess Camp is led by National Championship Coach Bryan Wilson and 5-time Michigan Women’s State Champion Clara McGrew, offering a dynamic and inspiring environment for young players of all levels.
Whether your child is just learning the rules or already competing in tournaments, this camp delivers expert instruction, personalized training, and a fun, inclusive atmosphere. Campers will learn everything from piece movement and tactics to strategy, scoring, and tournament play — all while building confidence, focus, and life skills through chess.
The week ends with a USCF-rated tournament, giving every student the chance to apply what they’ve learned in real games. Spots are limited, and Daycroft students will train in a setting that supports both academic and creative growth.
